I was pleased to get going again with my painting after a long break. I'd thought this one through for a long time during the break. I wanted to give the impression of the building showing through a mist. I was quite pleased with the outcome - though it was difficult to photograph because of the subtle colouring. I used a lot of matt medium on this as there was a lot of glazing required. I was pleased with my first attempt at a sky too - the clouds don't show up very well here though.
