Wow - so that was Jan and Feb done and we are already almost a week into March. No way! A sixth of the way through the year!

Blimey! My website has been down for a while and it seems to have been hacked! Some people have nothing better to do.

 Only one person noticed so that shows how popular I am  Every cloud has a silver lining: at least there was one person who missed me and that makes them one in six billion! ...but they probably knew that anyway.

I had some good news out of bad today. I ordered a book via Amazon resller the_book_depository, when it arrived it although it was the same book it was a different version (not quite what I'd ordered). I contacted them to see if it could be corrected and they said it was a catalogueing error by Amazon. They said they couldn't provide the one I wanted but I could keep the one they'd sent and they would give me a full refund - pretty good of them and zero hassle for me. Happy Birthday to Jayne!

My work's phone was due for renewal and despite intending to go for the Touch HD 2 I ended up going for the iPhone 3GS. I had been against it because I didn't want to be committed to iTunes. Having installed it and gone with the flow I am left wondering why I was so against it. It needed a little figuring out for sync-ing the right music (you need the right combination of ticks in boxes) but it is not complicated. I am really pleased with the phone and have even bought a couple of apps (as we young ones call them). Having bought an FM transmitter I can now play MP3s or the Apple equivalent in the car - very 2010!
