On day three of Isaac's French trip there's a photo of him eating snails and frogs' legs. I've tried frogs' legs but snails!!?

Isaac has gone to France: you can follow his travels on the school trip web page, and Shola has gone to Italy. You can't follow her travels anywhere (even if you could keep up with them). Shola's mum and dad are going to the US for Tolu's graduation. Meanwhile I'm stuck at home!

It must be summer now as I got the petrol lawn mower out today. After a hard day's work in the garden the evening was spent at the silver screen watching Iron Man

Today I decided to try to get some new clothes as I haven't bought anything since I went shopping in the States over Christmas. I got nuthin! It was hopeless.
Later we managed to get out for a proper bike ride. We cycled to Ferry Meadows and back: roughly the same route I took with my walk a few weeks back. This time though we didn't make a wrong turning. We got back just as it started raining. They say every cloud has a silver lining - I'm not sure where this one was as it made us hurry when we were at our most tired!

I finally cut the grass on the front lawn today and then followed up by removing the weeds - does this mean summer is here? I feel like I almost had a weekend as I spent some time not working!
Shola's not well - she's "cough-ie" and "throat-ie". On the plus side it means I get some Buttercup syrup! |
I tried to persuade her that she shouldn't have any of the spicy kebabs that we had for lunch (deelish!) it didn't work through: we had to share them
